The event, organized by ICANN and Anilla Cultural, Uruguay, and supported by RedCLARA, will take place this Wednesday, April 19, at 14:00 GMT.

Technicians, academics and researchers in the Caribbean will have the opportunity to benefit from “Caribbean MAGIC”, a 3-day series of technical training and scientific discourse from April 10-12 at the University of the West Indies(UWI), Cave Hill Campus in Barbados.

The Program aims to facilitate the appropriation and development of capacities for the leadership, management and strategic management of innovation ecosystems.

The organization of the event will fund an air ticket to San José (round trip) for each of the works selected in the Call for Authors. Those selected in the call "Young ICT people innovating to improve their Universities" will be contemplated with an air ticket and the registration at the Conference.

The TICAL2017 Conference, which is to be held in the city of San José, Costa Rica, between 3rd-5th July, 2017, will close its calls for Authors and “Young ICT innovating to improve its University”.

Laclo 2017 will be held in October and will also host the Cacic 2017 Informatics Conference.
