This is the first service implemented by RedCLARA in collaboration with Latin American national networks that integrates multipoint conferencing units to maximize the interaction between the research community and the regional development.
Developed by the Work Group Traffic Exchange Point of Voice over IP, PIT VOIP, this initiative aims to facilitate and enhance communication among researchers and academics in the region through the integration of phone networks available in national networks, NRENs.
Leaders from Latin American projects developed through advanced network infrastructure will share their experiences in an international seminar to be held in Guatemala on August 30th. The event will be transmitted by videoconference and streaming.
From this month the RedCLARA portal offers three new free services for the Latin American academics networks and the research communities included in each one; these applications allow the online creation and manage of Web sites, events and multipoint video conferencing. To use these applications you must be a registered user in www.redclara.net.
This is a free tool addressed to the Latin-American research communities and academic networks, which allows to create and manage scientific and academic events on-line.
