Submitted by I-CHASS, the Pan-American Summer Institute (PASI), will receive a almost one hundred thousand dollars for its development in Guatemala in July 2013. The activity will bring together 40 participants from the Americas to offer training on Methods of Computation-Based Discovery (CBD), with the collaboration of XSEDE, NCSA, AVL, ARTCA, RedCLARA and OAS.
This activity, which will be held on Wednesday 24, October, 2012, between 15:00 and 17:00 hours GMT aims to offer to the participants the opportunity to learn about successful experiences of scientific collaboration in High Energy Physics in Latin America.

In order to promote Latin American successful experiences on tele-medicine/e-health, on September 12th will take place the e-Health Virtual Day organized by RedCLARA, in collaboration with the academic networks from Brazil (Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa, RNP), Panama (Red Científica y Tecnológica de Panamá, RedCyT) and Venezuela (Red Académica Nacional de Venezuela, Reacciun).
