As part of the BELLA II project and representing the Cybersecurity Group of Research and Education Networks of Latin America and the Caribbean (eduLACSeg), RedCLARA participated in Cybersecurity Month by organizing two virtual meetings aimed at promoting collaboration, increasing knowledge, and strengthening digital security in the region.

The Government of Guatemala has confirmed its membership in the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Center (LAC4), with the presence of public officials from the Executive Branch and international experts from LAC4, following efforts by the Presidential Commission for Open and Electronic Government.

As the year’s last quarter begins, RedCLARA releases the 56th edition of its newsletter, DeCLARA. This issue brings essential information for the academic community, covering events like TICAL 2024 and InnovaInvest, SCALAC’s latest advancements, and the newly launched BELLA II testbeds, among other relevant topics for RedCLARA’s community.

The Advanced Computing Network of Latin America and the Caribbean (SCALAC), in collaboration with RedCLARA, has successfully concluded the latest edition of the Latin American High-Performance Computing Conference (CARLA). The region's leading forum for high-performance computing (HPC), this international event serves as a crucial platform for exchanging innovative ideas, technological advancements, and applications in this field.

Dr. Ekaterina Kostioukhina, a specialist in digital fields and neuropsychology with a medical degree, will present at the TICAL2024 Conference, which takes place from December 3 to 5 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
