NSF approved funding for a PASI in CBD in Guatemala
Submitted by I-CHASS, the Pan-American Summer Institute (PASI), will receive a almost one hundred thousand dollars for its development in Guatemala in July 2013. The activity will bring together 40 participants from the Americas to offer training on Methods of Computation-Based Discovery (CBD), with the collaboration of XSEDE, NCSA, AVL, ARTCA, RedCLARA and OAS.
The PASI in CBD will be developed in the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala and will provide an opportunity for an estimated number of 15 Latin American researchers to participate.
