Participate in the call for applications to improve information systems for Health in the Americas
The Pan American Health Organization will be awarding grants to project implementation proposals to improve Information Systems for Health (IS4H) in the Americas. The call for applications will be open until November 15 and it is driven to public institutions at National or Subnational levels from countries of the Americas region.
Public Universities are also eligible to apply. Applications will be required to submit an official letter of support from Ministries of Health at national level that supports the project. Proposals should be focused on strengthening preexisting health programs, strategies or policies.
PAHO anticipates awarding grants of $35,000 - $40,000 (U.S. dollars). Financial resources are going to be allocated as "seed money" for country-based implementation projects. The IS4H seed funding strategy is intended to be an early investment, meant to support the project until a sustainable model has been fully implemented with its own dynamic.
The application form is now available online and contains rules and instructions on how to fill it out correctly. To download and get more information about the call, visit http://www.paho.org/ish
