March 9, 2 p.m. GMT: "Strengthening Telehealth" Seminar, by RUTE-Chile

The first RUTE-Chile 2022 Seminar will take place next Wednesday, March 9, at 2 p.m GMT, addressing the theme "Strengthening Telehealth". During the event, the main advances in active SIGs will be reviewed and the next actions of the University Telemedicine Network of Chile will be announced. In addition, we will have the participation of Dr. María José Letelier, head of the Department of Digital Health of the Ministry of Health of Chile

  • Welcome – Dr. Angélica Avendaño, former president of RUTE-Chile and director of the UdeC Telemedicine Unit.
  • Keynote “Digital Health two years after the pandemic, lessons learned and future guidelines” – Dr. María José Letelier, head of the Department of Digital Health of the Ministry of Health.
  • Presentation RUTE-Chile and its Special Interest Groups (SIG) – Dr. Angélica Avendaño, former president of RUTE-Chile.
  • SIG Presentation “Telehealth Competency Framework” – Tamara Ramírez, member of the RUTE-Chile Coordination Committee and coordinator of the Clinical Fields Unit of the UOH School of Health.
  • SIG presentation “Ibero-American Glossary of Telehealth and Digital Health” – Dr. Alejandro Mauro, head of the Department of Biomedical Informatics of the German Clinic of Santiago.
  • Status of the project “Foundations for the Guidelines for the Development of Telemedicine and Telehealth in Chile”, Strategic Public Good CORFO ChileInnova – Maurizio Mattoli, president of RUTE-Chile and researcher at the Center for Biomedical Informatics of the Institute of Sciences and Innovation in Medicine (ICIM ) UDD.
  • Question session – Moderator: María Loreto Rodríguez, executive coordinator of RUTE-Chile.
  • Closing – Maurizio Mattoli, president of RUTE-Chile.
