The strategies to combat COVID in the Chinese city of Wuhan and the importance of quarantine will be the themes of the Webinar of the Special Interest Group (SIG) "COVID-BR-19", of the University Telemedicine Network (RUTE), this Monday , July 27, at 3pm GMT.

With the aim of collectively contributing as national and regional research and education networks, and supporting the global fight against the corona virus, this session is dedicated to bringing together relevant agents from the educational field in Latin American countries who will refer to the actions and strategies developed in each of its institutions.
This webinar speaker is the MIT Professor Vincent Chan, current president of the Communications Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE). Prof. Chan will give a brief presentation on his perspective on the current and future state of communication technologies.

With the increasing development of Data Science and its important role in organizations, many universities have specialized in preparing Data Science professionals and specifically in their Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning areas in order to support the industry.
