The Research Software Alliance (ReSA) and the Netherlands e-Science Center are organizing a two-day international workshop in Amsterdam with the aim of setting the future agenda for national and international funders in its support for the development of sustainable research software. HUMANOS-XXI is the theme of the virtual mega-conference that will bring together in the same place the Latin American Congress of Engineering - INGENIO2022 -, the Latin American Congress of Education - ELE2022 - and the Latin American Congress of Sciences - CILAT2022 - with the aim of opening a space in which the community presents, analyze and project its work in a Transdisciplinary way under the motto "An encounter between Humanity and Science."

REUNA Chile will hold on Wednesday, October 19 at 20:00 GMT (17:00 in Santiago) the Webinar "Low Cost SOC", on the occasion of the "Cybersecurity Month" and the cycle of Webinars promoted by the Regional Cybersecurity Group of Research and Education Networks in Latin America.

The speaker of the event is Carlos Montoya, President and Founder of the Whitolab Educational Foundation. He will address themes such as what is a Security Operations Center (SOC), as well as its main functions and the importance in cyber defense of an organization, with focus on how to implement a SOC with Open Source tools, which allow structuring the technological basis of this service.

The National Academic Network of Advanced Technology of Colombia, RENATA, and ICETEX, invite the entire educational community of the country and the region to participate in the "Red de Oportunidades" Program, on July 29 at 10:00 a.m. (15h GMT), where calls in the areas of Sustainability, Economy and Health Science will be presented.

The 25th edition of WALC, Workshop for Latin America and the Caribbean, will take place from November 7th to 11th in Panama City. On this occasion, WALC will have a hybrid modality, with 5 live tracks and 3 online tracks. The face-to-face activity will be held at the Universidad del Istmo, in Panamá. The online activity will have the same duration and will follow a mechanism of direct and live communication via Videoconference, with asynchronous activities dedicated to readings and resolution work proposed by the instructors.
