In the framework of the Webinar Series 2024 of the University Telemedicine Network of Latin America (RUTE-AL), the conference ‘Governance of health data in LAC’ will be held on Wednesday 31 July, at 15h GMT (9h from Mexico, 10h from Colombia/Ecuador, 11h from Chile and 12h from Brazil).

After a successful session on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, the 2024 Webinar Series of the University Telemedicine Network for Latin America and the Caribbean (RUTE-AL) will now discuss the challenges of AI development in healthcare.

The European Earth Observation Programme, Copernicus, invites the research and education networking community in Latin America and the Caribbean to participate in the Webinar "The Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem (CDSE): Practical Demonstration", to be held on Thursday 18 July, at 17h CEST (15h GMT).
The Latin American High-Performance Computing Conference (CARLA) invites the Chilean and international scientific community to share their advancements in HPC, HPC&AI (the convergence of HPC and artificial intelligence), and HPC applications. The deadline for submissions is July 5th.
On Tuesday, July 9, the first meeting of the National Committee of the Copernicus Academy in Guatemala will take place. The National Research and Education Network of Guatemala, the National Secretariat of Science and Technology (Senacyt), the University of the Valley, the European Union Delegation in Guatemala, and RedCLARA, with support from the EU Space Support Office and EUreCA, are organizing the event.

The Latin American and Caribbean research and education community is invited to participate in the Webinar "Data for the UN Ocean Decade - A European Approach", the first of the "EU Ocean Data" Series, to be held throughout the second half of 2024. The event will be held this Wednesday, June 19, at 14:30 CEST (12:30 GMT).
