Under the theme “Technologies That Connect and Transform Us,” the 14th edition of the RNP Forum, organized by the Rede Nacional de Ensino e Pesquisa (RNP), a member of RedCLARA, has officially begun. The event brings together leaders, experts, and representatives from various sectors to discuss how technological innovations are redefining the future of education, research, health, culture, and defense.

To address this, SIG Salud Digital is organizing the panel “Health for Indigenous Peoples in LAC,” a space where experts will discuss the current situation, structural barriers, and opportunities to improve access to equitable healthcare.

AmeriGEO Week 2025, under the theme “Earth Intelligence for a Sustainable Future,” will take place from August 11 to 15 in Bogotá, Colombia, hosted by the National University of Colombia (UNAL). This international event will bring together representatives from governments, space agencies, scientific institutions, and regional networks to strengthen cooperation in the use of Earth observations to address social, environmental, and economic challenges across the Americas.

On Wednesday, August 20, a new RUTE-ALC meeting will take place, focusing on digital public infrastructure and interoperability—two key pillars for advancing digital health in the region.
The CILAC Forum will host a new colloquium addressing the challenges, progress and tools associated with monitoring Open Science in Latin America. Since its launch, more than 35,000 people have participated in the Science in Movement colloquium series.
